Beginner’s Guide to Web Design
This summer I thought a lot about how ineffective I was in Web Design last year. I think there were many points I was trying to make that some students simply didn’t want to believe. So, I spent some time finding other resources to support some of the ideas I was trying to get across. My hope being that if students see it from various places, they won’t consider it just opinion, but rather see some authority behind it. (Of course, merely my word should be authority enough; but alas, sometimes you need more.)
Anyway, one good resource is a Beginner’s Guide from a Seasoned CSS Designer. It says much of the same things that I try to get across in class, but its not me saying it. Sometimes that appears to be the most important thing : |
